The task
Connect procurement analytics with the day-to-day work of a bidding team: from the decision to take part, through bid preparation, to contract support.
The bidding process
The system supports tender selection against a supplier profile, work with requirements, competitor analysis and price calculation. Preparing and submitting bids and then supporting contract performance are joined in a single workflow.
The domain logic covers the whole participation cycle. Results of won and lost tenders feed back into analytics and refine the selection rules.
Development and practical experience
We built a system in which analytical tools are tied to everyday bidding work. Accumulated results are then used when preparing the next bids.
Over 24 weeks of running the bidding operation using our own analytics, 2,237 bids were submitted and 993 wins secured.
