End-to-End Automation for an Investment Group
Automation of investment activities for a bank, investment companies, and pooled bank-managed investment funds (OFBU). The system covers trading, back office, trade accounting and control, and management and regulatory reporting.
The task
Automate the investment activity of a group that included a bank, investment companies and pooled bank-managed investment funds (OFBU).
Domain and scope
The work covered trading, the back office, accounting and transaction control, and both management and regulatory reporting.
We built systems for trade registration and control, calculation of positions and available funds, and limit control by instrument and counterparty. Tools for developing and testing trading strategies were also part of the suite.
Financial logic
Executed trades and completed settlements are recorded separately. That distinction is used when determining positions and available funds.
The automation connected trading operations with subsequent accounting, control and reporting, covering the core investment processes of the group’s companies.
